Known for his precision, power, and adaptability, he has performed alongside major acts including A Perfect Circle, Korn, and Three Days Grace—building a reputation as a high-level player capable of delivering on both large stages and high-pressure productions.

After years in the heavy music scene and leading projects such as Fear of City, Jay expanded into the country genre, bringing his signature intensity and musicality into a new space. This evolution led to the formation of Shimmer Road alongside Shimmer Johnson—an artist partnership built on creative chemistry and a shared vision for a modern, high-impact live experience.
